The Parish of Nuthall Council lies about six miles west of the centre of Nottingham. It is within the Borough of Broxtowe. It comprises thirteen Councillors who are each elected for a term of four years.
The Parish Council directly operates a number of services and facilities, including the Temple Centre, Basil Russell Playing Fields and the New Farm Lane Cemetery.
Junction 26 Business Park – Planning Application Update
The Planning Department has now validated the latest application for Junction 26 Business Park, and it is open for public comments.

Any comments or objections need to be lodged to the Planning Department at Broxtowe by 18th March 2026.

PARISH OF NUTHALL (East Ward)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that a vacancy has occurred in the office of councillor for the Parish of Nuthall, following the resignation of Councillor Judith Couch.
If within 14 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays) of the date of this notice, TEN electors for the electoral area give notice in writing to the Returning Officer of Broxtowe Borough Council requesting an election to fill the vacancy, an election shall be held within sixty days beginning with the day on which public notice of the vacancy was given.
If no such request is made, the vacancy will be filled through co-option by the Parish Council.
